Frequently Asked Questions

What happens during a session?
Each session involves attaching several small electrode wires to various places on the head, providing extremely low pulses (3 trillionths of a watt) of electrical stimulation, which encourages brainwaves to balance.

How long do sessions take and how many are required?
Each IASIS MCN session lasts roughly 30 minutes.  The treatment is imperceptible, non-invasive, and effortless to the client.  Most patients report initial improvements within 3-5 sessions.  The average duration of treatment is 10-20 sessions, but does vary depending on the acuity of one's condition.

Is MCN safe?
Yes, extremely safe.  The FDA has listed no contraindications for MCN.  In over 2 million treatments done worldwide, there is not a single reported case of someone being worse off after completing their treatment protocol.

Are there side effects?
In the first few MCN sessions, a patient sometimes experiences fatigue, light-headedness, a feeling of being "revved up," or a mild headache.  These symptoms
are always temporary, and typically last only a few minutes to a few hours.

Do I have to stop my medication to do MCN?
No.  Medication does not diminish the effectiveness of MCN.  There is no need
to stop or reduce your medication.  Any such changes should be done with your healthcare provider.
